OBITUARY
Alfonza "Botch" Sidwell,92, of 1011 Apalachee Road, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2002.
A native and lifelong resident of Morgan County, Mr. Sidwell was the widower of Eloise C. Sidwell.
Graveside services will be at Friday at Apalachee Cemetery, Madison. The Revs. Mike Pritchett and Allen Cagle will officiate. Survivors include three daughters, Lucille Godwin and Vivian Furgerson, both of Madison, and Nettie Goodson, Macon.
Two sons, Grady Sidwell, Madison, and J. T. Sidwell, Eatonton also survive.
In addition, four sisters are still living, Mamie Howard, Monroe, Sara Lovin, Florida, and Loise Morris and Dorothy Jones, both of Good Hope; 41 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers for Mr. Sidwell will be Gerry Sidwell, John Sidwell, Edward Godwin, Davie Randall, Joseph Pritchett and Ray Goodson. The family will receive friends at the residence tonight.
Bridges Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
