18 MARCH 1784 REVOLUTIONARY WAR BOUNTY  LAND GRANT: Archibald and family came to Georgia from North Carolina and settled in Richmond County.

Archibald and family appear to have settled Greene Co., GA before 1790, based on an entry in Deed Book B, page 289, dated
20 April 1789, indenture between Rene Fitzpatrick and Ethelred Wood, for 230 acres of land in Greene Co., bounded by Thomas Lemon, Archibald Gresham, Curtis Willbourn, and John Buchanan. 3
