This was the the home church of Thomas CHILVERS & Ann RAW. Their nine children were baptised here and they worked Friars Thorn Farm, which is still occupied but not by the CHILVERS'. Thomas become a Governor of the local school. Thomas & Ann are buried in the churchyard.

The date of the building of the church is unknown to me at the present time
