STORY
After the downfall of Sigma and Doppler, X and Zero are finally given a long deserved relief Much realities become past after the 3rd major appearance of Sigma. The repliforce is now the most powerful army on Earth and are put online to assist the Maverick hunters in their quest to hunt down defective/evil reploids. Unfortunately, after a brief lapse of time, the Repliforce seems doubtwith in their actions and a new chapter in the X series begins.
COMMENT
The blue bomber made a terrific transition from the 'ol SNES system to the playstation console. Being a major 2D fan, I really admired the smooth gameplay, neat anime scenes, high packed action that Capcom brougth us. This game is absolutely perfect in every aspect, the action is splendide, replay value is unbelievable and the music itself is catchy and fits well with the various backgrounds. Many say the dialogue in this game is a little bit poor, I however have enjoyed every bit of Actors voices. The only flaws I discovered where in Frost Walrus's stage where the ice backround is made a little too crappy if you ask me and the relatively short (their far from short when you start X4 for the first time!!) stages throughout the game. Elsewhere, This game truly has surpassed its closest and oldest ennemy, Contra. |
