Cheesy Walnut Burgers
In a bowl, combine the first nine ingredients; shape into six 3/4-in.-thick patties. Fry in a greased skillet until golden brown on both sides, or bake on a greased baking sheet at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until browned, turning once. Yield: 6 servings. Serve with lettuce, tomato, and whatever else you like on your burgers. Note: At one time I tried to be a veggie, but everything that was good for you tasted awful, and everything that was bad for you tasted good. This is the first veggie burger recipe that I actually liked enough to have seconds. In fact, to be honest, I had thirds. |
