Shoo Fly Cake
4 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening or butter
1 teaspoon salt

Make crumbs with the above mentioned flour, sugar, butter, and salt.   Set 1 cup of the crumbs aside for topping

1 cup baking Molasses (Green Label - Dark)
2 cups hot water
1 teaspoon baking soda

In a large bowl, mix the molasses, hot water and baking soda.  Add crumbs and mix.  Put in a greased 9x13" cake pan and sprinkle with the 1 cup of crumbs for topping.  Bake at 350F degrees for 40 minutes.
