| Concert to mark EDSA People Power set for Feb. 25 at CCSC By Cebu Daily News |

| THE ANNUAL "Yukbo: Ang Konsiyerto" will be staged for the 19th time on February 25, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. in observance of the 19th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution. The venue for this year's concert is the Cebu City Sports Complex. | ||||||||||||||
| Since 1986, the event has attracted the best musicians of Cebu who have performed gratis et amore. Among those who have taken the center stage of Yukbo include Eva Santos, Manny Lapingcao, 40-The Band, Salome Oro, Rolly Wagas, Kadangyan and Etu. | ||||||||||||||
| Organized by musician-civic leader Mel Libre, Yukbo has consistently given more exposure to bands and artists who record their own materials. | ||||||||||||||
| This year, the invited artists in Yukbo include: Huni, UC Choir, Mandaue Children's Choir, Marasmus, BMW, Konigs, Anak sa Liking Kawayan, Brownian Method, Powerspoonz, Cattski, Zarah Smith, Smooth Friction, Missing Filemon, Mel Libre, Melodi Jam, Dale Ibay, Southwings, Rolly Wagas, Pasakanin, Island Joe, Jr. Kilat, Sintada, Kabilanin and Kadangyan. | ||||||||||||||
| An added attraction is the "Dibutaw" (People Art) Festival an art expression of groups not less than 100 forming a symbol or sign to represent a message in an open field without use of props. The Commission on Higher Education has asked students under the National Service Training Program of 16 colleges and universities to participate in this unique and first-ever activity. | ||||||||||||||
