This Past Season,, MTV brings 20 past Real Worlders and Road Rulers to battle out in the bigger and badder Real World vs. Road Rules: The Inferno. Over the course of the season, both shows will compete against each other to win missions. After each mission, both shows will vote two players they least need/want. The two people from each show will now go up to be chosen from the opposite team. Those two players will go on to the next mission where they'll try to win the Aztec Lifesaver. That lucky winner(if a nominee) can remove themself from the running and then place someone else in their spot. The two final nominees will now battle each other in "The Inferno". The player that loses will be sent home, while the winner must go back to the team that just tried to send them home. The last remaining 12 players, regardless what show they are from will win what has been banked in their team's bank account while the winner of the last mission also wins the Handsome Reward.
