Welcome to the Real World / Road Rules Challenge 2000, we start off with helicopters arriving with cast members blindfolded. They are dropped off atop a parking garage in Vegas. When all have arrived, they take off their blindfolds and meet their teammates.

They are met by this season's Ms. Big- Gladys from Road Rules Latin America
She then shows them that they're next to the tallest tower in North America, the Stratosphere. Their mission? To bungee off a platform extended off the tower. If a whole team jumps , their team will win $10,000 e*trade dollars which will be used toward the end of the challenge to buy stocks with.
They are taken to the top of the tower where the fear they had on the ground doubles. David foes first and jumps without hesitation followed by Yes, Carlos, Teck, Dan, and Mike who just lept off with no worrys. Amaya went next crying all the way out the ramp. Amaya was followed by Piggy, Veronica, and Heather who all were scared to death to jump aswell. Holly went next and was the only gal who just jumped without any hesitation. Last came Kat who was given the option to jump with the longest bungee cord which, if she jumps, will break the world record for bungee jumping(at the time with 700 feet). Kat struggled with the idea and decided she couldn't let the opportunity pass, she lept and seemed to fall forever.
Since both teams jumped, they both received the $10,000 e*trade dollars!

10. Demolition Derby
To get thier next clue they went to Nike Town in Vegas. They are greeted by Roy Jones Jr.(professional boxer) who tells them that one of them will have to fight him to get the clue. Noone on either team didn't feel like getting beat up but finally David decided to take the challenge only to find out he only has to play a kid's toy boxing game with him.
David lost after several rounds but Roy felt sorry for the team anyways and gave them their clue.
They're off to Nashville, on the way we see Real World living it up in their bus while the Road Rulers and more quiet and low key.
When they arrive, they're given their next mission which is entitled "Bumper Cars" which is just another name for Demolition Derby. There will be 6 teams of two members. One being the driver and the other a passenger equipted with a super soaker filled with paint to shoot at the opposing team's driver.
The teams are-
Real World-Amaya & Kat, David & Mike, Heather & Teck.
Road Rules-Yes & Veronica, Los & Piggy, Dan & Holly.
Los & Piggy and Heather & Teck are taken out right away. Dan & Holly seemed to be the team that would never die after coming back twice after stalling. But in the end Real World takes the prize.
Meanwhile, Amaya & Kat's car catches fire and Amaya inhales a massive amount of smoke and needs an ambulance. She recovers okay just to be attacked by Heather who tells her to suck it up.
After the challenge, they receive a package from Tobacco Free Kids which tells them that their team will win a additional $6,000 if their whole team will quit smoking for the rest of the challenge. David and Amaya are upset but willing to take the challenge for their team. Meanwhile back at Road Rules, Piggy(the only smoker on the Road Rules team) is outraged, stating that it isn't fair to ask her to do that. But she gives in and says she'll give it a shot.
But later that night, Heather sees Piggy walking with a cigarette and runs to get a camera man to catch her. They chase her into a girl's bathroom stall where Piggy is screaming at them to get out. Piggy is annoyed and swears revenge while Heather just says that this is war.

11. Wheel of Wrestling
We start off with Piggy still upset about being caught smoking and losing the money for her team.
They arrive at their next mission where they find out they will be wrestling, either eachother or professional wrestlers(guys, gals, ad midgets) depending on what they spin on a wrestling wheel. Heather and Piggy go first, spinning the wheel to discover they have to wrestle each other. Piggy is determined to beat Heather cause Heather caught her smoking but ofcourse Heather is quite a bit larger and just kills Piggy.
On to Dan and Mike who spin the wheel and discover they have to wrestle female wrestlers. The guys take advantage of the situation and play with the girls abit but obviously each of them easily wins the match.
Next is Amaya and Veronica who spin the wheel to find out they have to wrestle midgets. Veronica goes first and after a good few battles gets pinned by the midget. Amaya goes next and after running around the ring like a girl, gets caught by the midget and pinned very easily.
Then Los and Teck is up, spins the wheel, and has to wrestle each other. After some good wrestling, Los gets Teck pinned.
Lastly, Kat and Holly are up, they too have to wrestle each other. After a brutal battle in which Kat chocks Holly several times, Kat gets Holly pins and wins the mission for Real World.
Amaya shoves the win in Road Rules face which infuriates Holly and Veronica leading to some big tension. We end the episode with Road Rules swearing they won't lose another mission.

12. Snake Wrangling
We start off with both teams heading to Lexington Kentucky for their next mission. At the mission they are greeted by Keefla from Road Rules Australia. They are told they are gonna participate in a challenge that Keefla hated the most during his Road Rules taping. They have to deal with snakes, actually they have to go in a cage filled with hundreds of different kinds of snakes and wrangle out the particular ones their team is assigned.
Amaya continues to aggrivate the Road Rules team, this time she admits to kicking their snakes into bushes. But the Road Rules team overcomes Amaya's attacks and wins the mission anyways!
Back in the bus, the teams find their second "Bonus $6,000" challenge. The challenge gives both teams a list of six different tasks where they can pick 3 to complete. The first team to complete the 3 tasks wins the bonus $6,000.
Both teams start off with the same first task, to find someone that will allow two team members of their team to skinny dip in their pool. Mike and Teck from Real World and Holly and Piggy both win the tasks for each team. Next both teams try to kiss a cow but fail to succeed as the cows won't let anybody come near them. Then both teams go back to their busses to play truth or dare.
We learn some fun stuff-
*Veronica has had phone sex four times so far in the past week
*Holly hasn't macked on the trip
*Piggy hasn't "gotten any" on the trip but has a eye on a few people.
*Veronica swears she has never cheated on her boyfriend Jason
*Los is attacted to a 35 year old woman
*Yes has slept with two women since SAS aired
*The Real World guys like to have their b*tts licked
Both teams also pick the same last challenge where the guys have to dress up like women and sign autograghs in a public place. In end the Road Rules team beats Real World by finshing their tasks a hour earlier winning the $6,000.
Amaya is pissed and declares this World War III.

13. Redneck Games
We head into this episode with Amaya flirting to a truck driver over the busses CB radio. He tells her that he loves big ol' boobies and she said she has plenty of those. He tells her to meet him at the next truck stop only to see him drive by and honk, she waves as he drives away.
They head off to Dublin Georgia to battle the next mission which they find out will be the Redneck Games. Both teams crack up as they hear the competitions and both are confidant that they will win.
Round 1- "Greasy Pig Catch" In which the team that catches a greased up pig out of a pin first wins.
Winners=Real World
Round 2- "Pie Eating" The team that has the most members eat their whole pie in 5 minutes wins. Road Rules decides to make as much off a mess as possible and push as much of the pie on the floor as possible without being noticed. Road Rulers "supposedly" finshed all their pies first but the Real World team states that most of their pie is all over the floor and on the table.
Winners=Road Rules
Round 3- "Pig Feet Bobbing" The team that overall gets as many pig feet out of a tank of water in a certain amount of time wins. Amaya already begins to complain, stating that as being Jewish, it's against her religion to put any part of a pig in her mouth. All her teammates except Kat tell her to suck it up for the team and just compete. Amaya watches in disgust as everyone bobs, and when Amaya's turn arrives, she decides to compete not to hurt her team. After bobbing, she immediatly runs to be sick in the bushes. Even though she competed, her team(except Kat) still has no compassion for her.
Winners=Road Rules
Round 4- "Mud Flopping" Where each team member will have to do a belly flop into a lake of mud and be judged by some rednecks. The team with the overall highest score wins.

The "Redneck Games" mission goes to Road Rules.
Back on the bus David and Heather take out their frustrations with the loss on Amaya, making her the punching bag for the team. Even though she scored more pig feet then both of them.

14. Mud Football
We start off with the teams finding out that their next mission will be a football game. David immediatly goes out and teaches Kat and Amaya some tips since they have no football experience at all. The Road Rulers are in their bus cracking up at Kat and Amaya dropping the ball every 2 seconds and they know they got this mission nailed.
We then see Piggy on the phone with her boyfriend from home, they have a argument and she hangs up the phone crying. Holly takes her back to the bus but Piggy stops at the tent Teck had set up and climbs in. We hear her pour out to him about her jerky boyfriend and how much she wants to find the right man. The camera pulls away which makes viewers wonder if they messed around in the tent.
On the Real World bus, Amaya makes sure that her team is not that hard on Kat and her since they've never played football. While on the Road Rules bus, they want to see Amaya leave the game on a stretcher.
After some practice with the NFL football player mission mayors they go to the locker room and change into their uniforms. When they arrive at the field, they discover they will be playing in mud.
The Real World takes the lead right away and right when Veronica goes after Amaya to tackle her, Amaya clothes hangers Veronica and flattens her on the ground. Not soon after Amaya hurts her arm and has to sit out which also leads to Piggy sitting out to even the odds.
But losing Piggy does not hurt the Road Rules team as they blast away Real World for their third win in a row. Real World is so depressed about losing they go hide in their bus.
The Road Rules team later shows up to invite the Real World team to a dinner with the two NFL football players that mayored the previous mission. Veronica even goes as far as asking Amaya how she feels. The Real World team agrees to the dinner, but end up sitting at different tables. Piggy goes to the Real World table to try to mend the two teams together again.
Amaya tells Piggy that there is no hard feelings and appologizes for the teams solitude.
We end the episode with Piggy flirting with the two NFL players and deciding she deserves better stating that it's over between her boyfriend and her.

15. Swamp Buggy Racing

We start off with Holly and Dan hanging out with each other. Holly calls her mom and tells her how great he is, we also learn that Dan has a girlfriend at home who he's been with for a year and a half. Holly admits she has never gotten close to anyone as she has with Dan in a time-span of 5 weeks.
We move foward to the mission "Swamp Buggy Racing". The teams learn they will have to be driving stick shift buggys around a two feet deep muddy water track. Heather quickly tries to learn how to drive a stick getting barked orders by David which only aggrivates her. Heather and Kat are both sick and tired of David's competitive attitude.
Round 1- Road Rules wins it as Amaya and Heather both have trouble catching on to driving a stick.
Winners=Road Rules
Round 2- They have to drive the buggies around the track while catching inflatable animals through the way. Holly and Yes get stuck and then David and Kat get stuck and David continues to yell at Kat which causes Kat to forcefully hold herself back from hitting David. They finaly break loose and can take the win but they turn around in the middle of the track which disqualifys them.
Winners=Road Rules
Amaya tries to console David but he just screams at her and tells her to get away. The mission mayor tells Real World that they have to win all three parts of the next round to win.
Round 3- They have to drive around the track carrying a inflatable gator and when they go around once they pass it on to the next team who will go around the track and so forth. But the catch is the driver is blindfolded and the passenger has to scream directions to them. David and Kat start it off first, but David get's off to a late start and loses it. Heather who knows that have already lost wants to continue the race anyways just for the team's dignity, but David tells the mission mayor there is no purpose and they stop the race which infuriates Heather.
Winners=Road Rules
Road Rules takes all 3 rounds which pushes their lead even further. David realizes that he was such a jerk and appologizes to his team. While the Road Rules team is eating dinner, David goes to their bus and takes the bull skull which he believes is giving them their luck.
We end the show with the teams going to a free Sister Hazel concert that is at the fairgrounds their mission was at. Sister Hazel knew they were there, so they invited them up to help sing their hit song "All For You". Mixed into them singing the song, which the lyrics perfectly echo the situation...
It's hard to say what it is I see in you

...we see scenes of Dan and Holly hanging out and a interview with a tearful Holly who says they're soul mates and that she respects that he has a girlfriend but she still admits that they will always have a connection.

16. Sweet Revenge
Finally receiving a day off from missions, the Real World team decides to pull a prank on the Road Rules team as revenge for their constant winning. They decide to come up with a fake scavenger mission. Since they're down in Miami, Mike still had his connections from his Real World days. They went to Ocean Drive Magazine where they use the magazine's resources to make a whole mission package up for the Road Rules team look as official as possible.
We go to the Road Rules bus where Holly and Piggy discuss how fed up with Los they are. They believe he's rude and the whole team is just getting sick of him.
The Road Rules are delived the fake mission and at first they do not want to do the scavenger hunt, they thought they finally get a day off and just wanted to keep the day free instead of having to work. So, they decide to just let Real World have the prize, but then their greediness rose and they don't want to just hand the money to Real World, so they decide to go for it.
While Road Rules goes for the hunt, Real World hits the town to party. Road Rules first task that they picked was to get two people to do Jumping-Jacks naked. For some reason Los already had two people who were gonna pose naked for him(kinda scary) so they just had them do the jumping-jacks. Next they all went to the beach and had to find a person to bury in the sand, luckily they found a man to agree. Lastly they needed to go find a girl and give her a makeover. Veronica took over saying this was her thing. Los wanted to make her look more like a clown with freaky bright colors while Veronica wanted to go with a classy makeover. They both get into it and Los walks out of the store.
On the fake mission, it stated all team members must be present for each task to be qualified for the bonus money. Holly chases after Los to come back so they just complete the last task and win the "fake" prize. Los states he wants a apology from Veronica and sits at a restaurant and waits until Veronica comes to him. Veronica gives him a complete half-a** apology and Los agrees to finish the hunt.
They get back to the bus and all the team members are either mad with what just happened between Los and Veronica or just tense to be near the situation.
The next morning the Real World team arrives in their bus and gives Veronica a box. She opens the box to find out it's their "sweet reward". A "Box of Suckers" for the suckers. At first, the Road Rules team didn't realize it was all a prank, but once the the Real World team explains the situation, the Road Rules team gets pissed. Veronica takes it the worst cause of the fight with Los.
Yes swears that there will be "Sweet Revenge"!!!

17. Homemade Swimsuit Contest
We start off with the Real World having a meeting, they're all sick of Amaya's complaining. They feel they could have won more missions had it not been for her. Over on the Road Rules bus, tension is higher then ever with Los.
They get their next mission which involves making home-made bathing suits, nothing can be part of a store-bought swimsuit. They each have to be paired up and do themed suits between the two person teams. Amaya is overwhelmed with excitement stating that this mission could give the team more respect for her since she can excel at this kinda stuff. Over on the Road Rules bus, Piggy is upset that she has to be paired up with Los. Holly and Los get into a fight and Holly says she's just going to stop being nice.
The following morning, the Real World girls get to work on their costumes while the guys took off to go play all day. When they return that night, the girls go off.
They finally all complete their costumes, the show is ready to begin.
Amaya and Mike, their theme was a candy pimp and hooker.
They earn 49 points!
Piggy and Los, their theme was Adam and Eve, Los was not into the competition at all, which reflected into their score.
They earn 29 points!
Heather and Teck, their theme is King and Queen of Hearts.
They earn 44 points!
Veronica and Yes, their theme was swimsuits made of trash.
They earn 50 points!
David and Kat, their theme was Greek Godesses.
They earn 50 points!
Holly and Dan, go last with a golfing theme.
They earn 56 points!
That gives us-

Road Rules:135 points
Giving Real World a win after a three mission losing streke. The whole Real World team is excited.
The Road Rules team though is pissed. Piggy is the most upset since it was her birthday and Los ruined it for her by not trying harder in the competition causing their loss. Back at the bus, you can hear fighting from the outside and then we see Los pulling a producer on the bus accusing Piggy of hitting him. Piggy denies anything had happened. Holly was the only one present on the bus, refuses to comment, and leaves the bus crying.
Los refuses to stay on the bus cause he's afraid of what Piggy might do to him. He has Heather take him to a hotel. The Road Rules team is afraid of the tension that was created and how it might affect their last two mission.

18. Stir Crazy
We start off with Piggy still mad at Los. We hear about how much she hates him. Dan steps in and decides he wants a peaceful last five days, so he goes to the hotel to talk with Los. Dan tries to see if he'll just try to cooperate for the last five days, but Los says he couldn't do that cause he would feel like he's lying to the group and to himself. Dan finally gets him to go back to the bus where Piggy and him completely ignore eachother. Dan lets the group know that they don't have to kiss Los's butt but just try not to upset him. Dan's actions only makes Holly love him more and in a interview she states that he's the greatest guy she has ever met.
With Los back, they head off to the next mission. The teams are given money and told to get food for all them that will last 48 hours. They arrive at the site of a college where they are blindfolded and told to take off any watches and that they're not allowed to have anything on them at all. Each team is led up in a chain to their own 20x20 room with nothing in it besides a bathroom which also doubles as a confessional. They are told they have to stay in this room together for 48 hours straight, but to make it alittle bit harder, they're given a tennis ball which they have to keep moving the whole 48 hours.
Heather let's everybody on the Real World team know not to let the ball stop, if they're tired, wake her up and she'll take care of the ball.
The whole Road Rules team is freaked that Los will walk out. He just sits in the corner and barely talks the whole first day. Meanwhile Dan and Yes figure out a system where they take shoelaces and tie them to a plastic bag and hang it from ceiling making it dangle in front of a air-conditioner where the constant air blowing keeps the bag moving. So, they place the ball in the bag and it the air keeps the ball moving and that's one huge part they don't have to worry about.
Meanwhile around the 38th hour Kat has to go to the bathroom, so she wakes up David and tells him to play with the ball. He bounces it for several seconds but then falls back asleep, leaving the ball to sit on the ground under his hand. Kat comes out of the bathroom and notices the ball is sitting there, she quickly grabs it and gives the camera a smile cause she knew that it had stopped, but hoping the camera didn't catch it, she continued to bounce the ball. A hour later, a note slipped under the door letting them know that ball had stopped and they have been disqualified. Heather is pissed, she wants to see the tape of when the ball stopped. They bring in a little TV where they replay the tape of the David holding the ball. Heather takes the loss out on Kat saying she should have woke her up instead of David.
Meanwhile back in the Road Rules room, Piggy and Los are slowly starting to forgive each other. In interviews we see that they actually think eachother are good people.
The 48 hours are up and Real World comes barging in all happy and tanned trying to make it look like this whole mission was a joke again. But the mayor came through and told Road Rules that they won. The Real World team sees Road Rules "Bag Invention" and wondered why they didn't think of that.

19. Handsome Reward
We start off the the final episode with both teams at dinner playing the question game. We see only 5 of the questions. Yes is asked how big his member is, Dan is asked who out of both teams he would like to go out with and he refuses to answer, Veronica is asked if she would be Amaya for a day and she quickly replies no, and lastly Amaya is asked if she would do the wrestling match over again and would she win. She basically said she'd kick Veronica's butt!!!
The following day the teams are off to meet Gladys. She tells them their final mission would be skydiving, and reveals their handsome reward will not be money but brand new 2000 Nissan Xteras. The teams are excited and both want to win. They later find out they won't be diving tandem and they have to sign releases that warn them that they could be killed.
They get to the field where they see they won't just have to skydive, but they have to skydive, manuever themselves to land in a huge dartboard-like scoring table that was painted on the ground. The team with the overall most points wins the SUVs.
The first plane goes up and they jump as-
Yes- Lands very hard outside the scoreboard for 0 points. He tells his team he's okay but later tells the camera that it hurt like he** but he didn't want to scare his team.
Los- Lands outside the scoreboard for 0 points.
Veronica- Lands dead center in the bullseye scoring a 100 points for Road Rules.
Heather- Lands in the 10 point spot but is just extremely happy to be on the ground and safe. She holds a bible for the rest of the divers, praying they all make it down safe.
David- Lands in the 50 point spot.
Mike- Land outside the scoreboard for 0 points.
The second team goes up and they jump as-
Holly- Lands outside the scoreboard for 0 points.
Dan- Lands dead center scoring another 100 points for Road Rules.
Piggy- Lands outside the scoreboard for 0 points.
Teck- Almost lands in the bullseye, but slides past and lands in the 75 point spot.
Kat- Lands outside the scoreboard for 0 points.
Amaya- While coming close to landing, a big gust of wind came through throwing Amaya, landing her hard on the ground(outside the scoreboard) on her feet. She's taken in a ambulance to the hospital.
The Road Rules team wins the SUVs with a 200 to 135 point victory and couldn't be happier. The following day which was their last day to trade their e*trade dollars, Road Rules is up $60,000+ and Real World is up alittle bit with $40,000+.
Amaya comes back from the hospital where she suffered a concussion and a sprained ankle from her fall. They all meet at the airport where they say their goodbyes. They all leave on good terms and are taking home great experiences and more confidence. The girls are all tearful especially Holly as she says goodbye to Dan. Another challenge ends with teammates going their seperate ways.
