Redemption Day

As I lay here between life and death,

Looking upon the gates of Hell,

Hoping to see Heaven one day,

I wait for Redemption day.

But now my body lays on the ground,

With a gun in my hand,

And blood all around me,

In the woods, where its nice and peaceful,

So I can sleep forever,

In Redemption day.

I cry out,

Looking for my parents,

Whom I've never really met,

Since the day they died,

When I was too young to know,

And now I do not recognized them,

As I stand in line,

For Redemption day.

Now I only wish for freedom from yesterday.

I wish for my life to come back once again,

For it is possible,

As I wait for Redemption day.
