The Message
Pitched black amongst the sky,
With scattered lightning,
Throughout the night.
I feel the rain,
That falls in sorrow,
Landing upon my wet head.
Silence is all that can be heard,
Lights flash faintly,
In the far distance.
Death is in the air,
It crosses so strongly,
That it strikes fear.
At the time,
It is unknown to me,
Who this could be.
The hairs on my arms,
Stick up straight,
As though someone's ora is near,
But I see no one near.
The answers play within my head,
But I don't understand,
Anything that rambles on.
These are the words,
That is meant for me,
Yet I still don't understand,
A word that is said,
For I still see no one.
As I turn,
I see her,
But only for a second,
It’s my mind playing games,
Once again.
But it seemed so real,
And why would I see blood,
Across her face.
Her lips were moving,
As though she were speaking,
And there is a voice,
That remains in my head,
But it's not hers.
I look again,
But she's gone,
And blood remains on the ground,
Which the rain,
Quickly washes away.
Who was that girl?
I swear I know her somehow,
And where did she come from?
I turn around once again,
For I feel as though someone is there,
And my sensation is right,
There stands this girl.
Her lips continue to move,
But I hear nothing,
And her face is covered in blood,
I can't tell who it is,
She is horribly cut up.
She motions with her hands,
To try to tell me something,
The words of,
I love you.
But now she is gone,
And never appears again,
While lightning flashes,
And thunder howls,
I stand there confused.
But my phone rings,
Shocking me in fear,
The voice through the phone is shaky,
And doesn't know,
Which words to use.
Everything begins to come clear,
The girl,
The messages,
The howls of death,
It was all related to me.
