A SEPTEMBER NIGHT
Blood on the ground,
The red river is flowing,
A man sits in the corner,
Rocking back and forth.
We all have a time,
A Time to go,
A Time to loose is all,
A Time to be crazy,
A Time to say good-bye.
Bodies lay in the grass,
Some just injured,
But one is dead,
Rocking back and forth,
What did I do?
We all have a time,
When is mine?
A car lay on it's side,
A tree broken in half,
The grass is stained with death,
And we rock back and forth.
A time for you and me,
But now its only me,
For your time has past.
In a plain room,
The bed is flipped over,
The door is locked,
And there sits a man,
In the corner,
Rocking back and forth.
He mumbles to himself,
About Life and Time,
Time is for infinity,
It lasts longer than life,
And our time has come.
The red river flows,
Down the curb,
Into the sewage drain,
Humans stand around,
And there lays the man,
With a gun clutched in his hand.
