METRO REVIEW By Jayne The Metro - Chicago, IL After getting lost ten times in Chicago, I finally made it to the Metro on the third to see the guys play. It was everything I expected and more. The Metro was a great place for a show...it was designed like an old theatre with a balcony and flights of stairs everywhere. Of course, I chose the front row for the entirety of the show. They came on stage and had undivided attention thanks to erividavia! He sent me millions of stickers. I passed out stickers with my friends before the show....even dropped a few onto the crowd from the balcony. Lots of people asked about rvm. Where they were from, what kind of music they play, if they're single!....I LOVED IT! Telling people about rvm made me realize how much I appreciate their music. They absolutely radiate. They pour out massive amounts of energy with every beat played. The guitar is penetrating, the bass is rhythmic, and the lead singer is out of breath for all of it goes to our heads. It puts an end to quiet thought and you are forced to think aloud. They've practiced for years to stand in front of a wanting crowd and give every ounce of energy away. It is amazing. I've noticed that they can rock anyone...from people who like metal to people who like lighter music or even both...they just know how to entertain anyone and everyone. They can play like no other. They 'effin rock. Everyone went crazy when they played animal. I was so happy to see them play again! I was psyched because when they came out they all recognized me from the Grand Rapids show. I think that they've got to be getting pretty excited too because they are picking up more and more fans with every show. We took over a hundred pics on a digital camera but only 80 turned out. They are going to be up as soon as possible. We took a few pics in panoramic on a regular camera... they turned out great with the stage and everything...and after the show of course I had to get a coupleof pictures with the guys. I had tons of fun doing all of this...i will make it to either the april 6or may 7 show. ...and as always i am soooooo excited. Jayne
