Reddish Vale Farm was initially set up as a livery establishment and riding school. The Farm takes horses on on a full livery basis, where privately owned horses are cared for by the farm staff. In addition to this, the farm has horses of its own, who are ridden by staff and clients alike.
Private lessons are run throughout the week for adults and children, and on a Saturday and Sunday morning childrens group lessons and walkouts (Saturday's only) are available for all levels of rider. Prices start at �7.50 per half hour for walkouts, �8.50 per half hour for lessons in the menage and �10 per half hour for weekday lessons. All beginner riders start their lessons with us on walkouts, where their progress is monitored until our instructors feels that they are ready to progress in to our menage. These lessons are all currently very much in demand, and the riding school is growing steadily week by week.
In addition, childrens birthday parties are available on a Saturday afternoon. These include a 1/2 hour walkout on our ponies, and a full meal and ice cream in the tearooms.
