Education Centre
The education centre has been set up on the farm to give children an insight in to the countryside environment.  The centre has a variety of farmyard animals, including horses, cows, sheep, goats, pigs, a milking cow, a llama, rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks and chickens.  We have adult and baby animals living on the farm, depending on the time of year.

The animals can be seen living out in the fields, or taking shelter inside our open viewing pens.  There are full handwashing facilities available, and toilet facilities within easy reach of the centre.

Our friendly staff are always on hand to offer assistance and provide information whenever you may need it.  We have a bouncy castle out every day that we are open, and run pony rides every Sunday 1pm - 3pm.  Pony rides are charged at 1.50 each.

Once you have entered the education entre, you are able to easily access the
tearooms and gift shop.  Entry to the farm is 2.50 for adults, 1.50 for children and 2 for senior citizens.  Cash only is accepted at the till, unfortunately we cannot process cheques or credit/debit cards.

Within a five minute walk of the centre is Reddish Vale Country Park, which provides a vast but safe area in which to walk, run, cycle or ride horses.  There is also a butterfly centre, duckpond and fishing areas.

!! NEWS FLASH !!
Reddish Vale Farm 2006

Following a well earned break from the limelight over the winter, all of our animals are now back in their pens waiting for you to visit them this Summer.  We have already had many visitors to the farm since we re-opened for Easter, and have hosted lots of visits from local schools during term time.

Kevin and Perry have stayed with us, as have Holly the cow, Pumba, Dot and Sheila the pigs, Roscoe the shire horse and many others.  We also have some new goats, baby lambs, piglets, lion head rabbits, baby guinea pigs, chicks, ducklings and calves.  We have two new minature shetland ponies, who are hoping to have a foal ready for our re-opening in Spring next year.

The Tea Rooms will be open as usual throughout the day, offering a full menu of hot and cold food and drinks.

A great day out for all the family - come along and see!
