I was always a stargazer--looking beyond the physical world for something more. My childhood was spent living in a fear based family. I could look but not touch.

The simplest questions are the most profound. Where were you born? Where is your home? Where are you going? What are you doing? Think about these once in a while and watch your answers change.
Richard Bach

I enjoyed my confinement because it bought me many "good" things: a false sense of security--good as long as it lasts.  Family: a marriage of 13 years that challenged me and gave me my two children. I still can look back and see the good moments of that time.

I learned when you stay stuck in something that you know is not good--there is a payoff for you somewhere. I look for the payoff and try to move on to more positive experiences now. I take a few more risks but, also have more adventure. God has blessed me with some wonderful; people, places and things. I am still working on letting them go when it's time to move on.

In order to live free and happily you must sacrifice boredom. It is not always an easy sacrifice.
Richard Bach

Your Wildest Dreams

Once upon a time,
Once when you were mine,
I remember skies
Reflected in your eyes.
I wonder where you are,
I wonder if you
Think about me
Once upon a time,
In your wildest dreams.
Once the world was new,
Our bodies felt the morning dew
That greets the brand new day.
We couldn't tear ourselves away.
I wonder if you care.
I wonder if you still remember.
Once upon a time,
In your wildest dreams

And when the music plays,
And when the words are
Touched with sorrow,
When the music plays
I hear the sound.
I had to follow,
Once upon a time.

Once beneath the stars
The universe was ours.
Love was all we knew
And all I knew was you.
I wonder if you know,
I wonder if you think about it
Once upon a time,
In your wildest dreams

And when the music plays,
And when the words are
Touched with sorrow,
When the music plays,
And when the music plays
I hear the sound.
I had to follow,
Once upon a time

Once upon a time,
Once when you were mine,
I remember skies
Mirrored in your eyes.
I wonder where you are,
I wonder if you
Think about me,
Once upon a time.

In your wildest dreams.
Beyond my wildest dreams I lived and worked in Clermont Florida for 2 years. Just 26 miles west of Orlando I managed to: see a space launch, see my son come in on a submarine at Cape Cannaveral, swim with the dolphins, and watch the Disney fireworks on my drive home. I would never call Florida home but it was amazing! Just a bit too hot for this gal.
