| PEOPLE: God puts these folks in your life for a reason. They come and go---and you don't get many clues how long you will be blessed with their presents/presence. Watch them, communicate with them, remember them. They come in all shapes and sizes, playing many roles--family, friends, co-workers. Don't be too quick to label them because they are all; teachers, and models, for you to use and love. |
| PLACES: A great way to meet people. There are physical places to visit and live. I am currently enjoying the great state of Virginia, but I have also lived in Washington, Florida and Pennsylvania. If traveling across the US is a bit much for you yet then at least get out and explore your immediate area. I am simply amazed when I pull in somewhere and ask for local directions--I can't tell you how often people don't even know their own neighborhood! If that's still too big a challenge yet try thinking out of your box. Famous words: "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."-author unknown |

| THINGS: I think things get a bad rap in the spiritual world. I find my things a great comfort and source of memories. Ahh--yes, it is easy to get hooked on things and annoying when you need to give them up. But, "things" can be a good exercise that will help keep people and places in perspective. Or maybe I am just not as evolved as I think...hmmm?? |
