Although we were scheduled to fly to Khajuraho on January 3rd, the dense fog resulted in our being unable to fly. As a result, we took a train from Agra to Jhansi and a bus from Jhansi to Khajuraho. During the wait in the train station, the men and women had separate waiting rooms. The train ride was warm and delightful, and the bus ride was, well, it was less warm and less delightful! Still, during the bus ride, we stopped in an absolutely charming little town for dinner. The pictures below are from that town. |
