There could be much worse places to be stranded. Missoula has lots to keep us busy and entertained with rivers, trails, Western Montana State Fair, farmers markets and dining in the park. We don't think we have seen so many pretty parks in one small city as we have here. You may want to visit here.
Prior to our stop here we were in Sheridan, WY to see Chris's sister and family. We had a great week there and also learned about basket making cowboy style. How about taking an old cowboy rope and making a basket for something unique. Check out the picture.
We spent a week in the Colorado Springs area where Chris went on her first, but not last, white water rafting trip through the Royal Gorge. WOW!! Yee Ah scarey. Unfortunately, she was too scared to spend $25 bucks on the photo, so alas, no picture. If you are motorhoming there do not stay at the Pike's Peak Inn & RV Park. There are nicer
If we ever get out of Missoula we are heading towards the west coast and a visit with our friends, Bob and Anne, in Olympia, WA. From there it is on down to San Diego.
