The Lady Ice Knights lost a tough one to the University of Pennsylvania this past weekend by a score of 5-3. The Lady Ice Knights battled back form a 3-0 score to make things close. Trailing 4-3 late in the third Rutgers was dominating play when the ref made a questionable call, sending off Rutgers defensmen Sherry Geck for holding. U. Penn scored on the power play and Rutgers lost the game by a score of 5-3. Rutgers travels to New York State next week to play Skidmore College. Rutgers beat Skidmore in their last meeting. Currently Rutgers stands at 4-2-1
SNOW CANCELS TWO GAME

A major snow storm pushed through the area and Rutgers ended up having two games canceled. Princeton University was supposed to host Rutgers on December 05th and American University was to travel to Rutgers on December 6th., but both games were canceled due to the snow storm. Both games will be re-scheduled for a later date.
RUTGERS LOSES FIRST GAME OF SEASON 3-1 TO PRINCETON
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - NOVEMBER 24, 2003
Rutgers University Ladies Hockey team lost its first game of the season yesterday by a score of 3-1 against Princeton University. Rutgers making the long trip to Maryland and back on Saturday looked sluggish and tired for the Sunday evening contest. Rutgers was outshot in the first period 10-0 and trailed 1-0. Rutgers turned it around in the second when they outshot Princeton 7-4 but trailed 2-1 with the final period in sight. Chang had the goal for Rutgers as it would be the only offense out of them tonight. Princeton scored a insurance goal late in the third to close the door and end Rutgers five game unbeaten streak. Rutgers had not lost since the start of the 03-04 season going 4-0-1. Rutgers will break for semester and will next play the University of Pennsylvannia on January 24, 2004 at Class of '23 Arena in Philadelphia.
RUTGERS STAYS UNBEATEN WITH 2-2 TIE AGAINST UNIVERSITY of MARYLAND

Rutgers Lady Ice Hockey Club extended its unbeaten streak to 5, 4-0-1 by tying the University of Maryland yesterday 2-2. The Lady Ice Knights were leading the game 2-1 when the refs missed a icing call and Maryland tied the game. Diana Chang scored both goals for Rutgers. The current unbeaten string reached 5 games. Rutgers plays tomorrow at Pro Skate in South Brunswick, NJ against Princeton University, game time is 2:00 PM and admission is free. Come and cheer on the Rutgers Women's Hockey Team.

The Rutgers University Women's Ice Hockey Club extended its unbeaten streak to four games yesterday in a come from behind 3-2 victory over Drexel University. Diana Chang scored the natural hat trick for the Lady Ice Knights who are now 4-0. Sherry Geck picked up two assist and Jamie Rygielski continued her scoring pace as she had one assist in the win, as Cara Parmigiani stopped 19 shots in goal for her 4th. straight victory. Rutgers next game will beon the 22nd. as they travel to Laurel, Maryland to play the University of Maryland.
PARMIGIANI SHUTS OUT SKIDMORE 7-0 AS RUTGERS GOES TO 3-0

Rutgers goaltender Cara Parmigiani picked up her first shut out of the season last night as Rutgers shut down Skidmore College 7-0. Rutgers stingy defense held Skidmore to just 17 shots on the evening. Skidmore had 2 powerplay opportunities but failed to mount a attack. Jamie Rygielski continued a torried pace as she netted the hat trick as Diane Chang picked up a goal and 4 assist. Erin Hessler, Saba Rathore, and Anne Paul scored the other goals. Rutgers extended its season record to 3-0. The Lady Knights next game will be today against Drexel as they travel to Class of '23 Arena in Philadelphia, PA.
RUTGERS DEFEATS DREXEL 8-1 AND UPS RECORD TO 2-0

Diane Chang added 2 more goals to her resume for the season as Rutgers soundly defeated Drexel University 8-1 yesterday. Anne Paul netted two and Kristen Schmitt, Jamie Rygielski Emily Diehl and Michelle Murphy added goals. Rygielski had a pair of assist in the victory. Rutgers outshot Drexel 30 to 14 in the contest. Rutgers next game will be at home against Skidmore College of New York on November 01 at Pro-Skate Ice Arena in South Brunswick, NJ. Rutgers will take a 2-0 record into the contest against Skidmore.
RUTGERS BEATS AMERICAN UNIVERSITY 5-4, AS CHANG SCORES 4

Diane Chang scored her fourth goal of the game with a minute remaing to put Rutgers in front by a score of 5-4 and stunning American University team and fans. American had a uphill battle to regain the lead as they pulled the goaltender to try and even the score. AU had numerous chances in the last 60 ticks but failed to score as Cara Parmigiani preserved the win. Both teams had a equal amount of scoring chances with American holding a 25 to 21 shots edge. Jamie Rygielski had a goal and 2 assist while Michelle Murphy had a assist in the win.
It was Rutgers first win of the season as they will head home to host Drexel University next weekend.

The Rutgers Women's Ice Hockey Club has selected Ed McGrady to coach this years Club. Ed comes from a strong hockey background including a Division Championship while with William Paterson College. Team President Sherry Geck will make the formal Club presentation at the teams next dry-land training exercise. McGrady will be assisted by Ralph Cortese, John Mores and Sean Zweeres. Cortese assisted McGrady at William Paterson.
