Paul has developed a nice effect here quite simply:

"What i did was - went to google's image search engine and entered 'abc', and worked with the first image that came up, which happened to be a scan of a document from ABC Broadcasting in New York. Anyway, i treated the image to several filters in photoshop until i had something i felt i was happy with. it only took me about half an hour from start to finish, though i'm happy with the result."
