REDSKINS RANT
Read
here weekly to find out my take on just what’s wrong (or hopefully right!)
with the Redskins this week

You
have just got to be kidding me! This was the first game this season that was a
blowout. And I hate to say it, but it was bound to happen sooner or later.
Perhaps it’s good that it happened now. At this point, the Skins lead the
league in sacks allowed. Their porous offensive line (Warren Sapp described it
as “floodgates open!”) has been allowing defenses to unload on Ramsey all
season. And, truth be told, it’s a wonder that he’s still hanging in there at
QB. His demeanor after the latest (Tampa Bay) game, says a lot about his
character. He merely said there was “some pressure”, when referring to his
being sacked 4 times, knocked down at least 6 times and hurried even more. All
season long we’ve known that his physical ability was above reproach, and now
he’s shown that his character is, too.
So,
we all (all us Redskins fans) agree that Ramsey is strong physically and
mentally, but let’s face it, he ain’t strong enough to withstand the pounding
he’s asked to take on each week. And on Sunday the 12th of October,
the results showed in the final score. Ramsey isn’t a one-man team, but he is
the leader of the offense, and if they don’t start protecting him, and doing it
NOW, things will continue to get ugly fast!
Bottom
line…
protect the quarterback, protect the
quarterback, protect the quarterback!
