This is an incredible recording that someone gave to us. We do not know its origins and the tape is of a poor quality; therefore, we have elected to type out a transcript of part of the recording so that you will realize exactly what you are hearing.
This was recorded during a church service in which seven brothers and sisters arose and sang the chorus "Halleluiah" a capella. ("A capella", for those unfamiliar with the term, means without musical accompaniment.) But the sounds they heard when they played the tape back were unearthly.
"...of what's on this tape. And I want you to pay very close attention to the music--now every once in a while you'll be able to hear the voice of the singers as they sing a capella. But there's something phenomenal happens to that song--"Halleluiah, Halleluiah"--as seven little church members just made praise and honor to Jesus, lifted up and exalted the king." The preacher begins to play the tape. "The angels of the Lord fill the sanctuary." The music plays.
"That's seven people."
The recording begins again.
"I let it play all the way through, now I want you to listen. When they analyzed it they said the singers never stopped to breathe. Notice they carry the note. They never stop and breathe. They said also there's some music in there that is not earthly. They said one, there's the sound of a harp. They said also, there's the sound of a horn. It's not a horn like we have, very much like a ram's horn that they used to use, the long ones. Also, the specialist said there's an instrument in there, they don't know what it is, it's not a piano, it's not an organ, it's not an accor...it's some strange instrument. I'll put it up to you in a minute.
"There was also a soloist begin to sing that wasn't one of the seven. Listen to the horn. Hear it? It's the long extended horn. You listen to the harp, I'll show you the harp. Here's the horn. Ha ha ha. Now I'll tell you what the soloist is saying in a few moments. Hear the instrument? They don't know what it is. The other they said is a harp. You hear it? The harp.
"Notice the singers never breathe. Try to carry it with them. They'll modulate without taking a breath. Now they stop."
The recording begins again.
"And they said the notes begin to climb into realms that are not human. Here's the harp. Listen to the harp. Hear it? Hear the harp? Oh, Jesus. They haven't taken a breath yet. I've had to breathe several times. They haven't breathed yet.
"Now listen. 'Let the praises ring out across the land, everybody's singing at the Lord's command. All the saints and the angels have been waiting to hear the news, of Jesus and His children as they're coming through.' Now that's a song that's been around for a while, but the soloist, they don't know who he is.
"The analysts tell us when they analyzed this, they weren't really too amazed because they said the sound of this singing is in the air all the time, they know about it. They said what they are amazed is a man's little tape recorder picked it up. They said it was a miracle that it even pulled it up out of the atmosphere. They said this sound of harmonious singing is in the atmosphere twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, scientists know about it."
The recording begins again.
"This music you're hearing right here is in the air seven days a week, 365 days in a year. They were amazed that a little electronic device, they said something happened that it was able to pull it out of the air. This is very similar to the sound of praise and music when I opened my mouth that was coming out in Arkansas and in Wash...and in Oregon. I understand.
"Halleluiah. Now I want you all to raise your hands and sing it with them. Halleluiah." The worship continues as the tape sontinues to play...
