| 3 cups vegetable oil 1 cup all-purpose flour 4 teaspoons salt 4 teaspoons dried oregano |
2 teaspoons black pepper 1-320gr bag frozen squid rings 1 lemon |

| 1. Thaw squid. 2. In a heavy, deep pot, heat oil to 365 degrees F. 3. In a deep mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, oregano and pepper. 4. Dredge squid through flour and spice mixture. 5. Place squid in oil for 2 minutes. DO NOT OVERCOOK or it will be tough. 6. Remove squid from oil and dry on paper towels. Serve with wedges of lemon. |
