FAMILY HISTORY - My mother's uncle, Jonny Oliver, played the string bass with Hank Williams Sr. in the original Alabama Cowboys. He also played with Red Foley, and the Goss Brothers. (Members in these groups would all take turns and play in each others' groups).
I like progressive bluegrass, blues,electric blues, Robert Cray,JimmieVaughan, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Johnny Winter,to name a few, including some of the new folks who dig these guys too, like Doyle Bramhall II. I also love all the old blues.
I also like jazz.
