Kids Korner:

This month, I want to feature most of our children enjoying a puppet show given by friends from Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church, Lodi, CA. The folks from Lodi richly blessed us with many wonderful toys, gifts, household items, bottled water, food, and clothes. The children also participated in the fun by singing a couple of songs for them. We thank you, Cornerstone, from the bottom of our hearts.

School Assistance Program:

School is in full swing and we have four of our little ones attending; two in Kindergarten and two in First Grade. A million thanks to those who have so lovingly helped by sending funds for school uniforms. But you can still help if you haven’t already. Some of the children need a particular part of the uniform that I haven’t found yet. Most will need a second pair of shoes before the year is up. Unfortunately, there is no one store where I can shop for a complete uniform. It means pounding the pavement (sorry, the dirt roads), going from store to store, Globos to Globos (open air markets) or finding a seamstress who can make what we need. That’s what I had to do for our Kindergartners. But we are gaining on it. Please help if you can by sending designated funds (for La Huerta Guarderia School Assistance Program) to the IDT address listed below. It’s never too late. The cost to outfit a child is $200 (Am.) per year but you may send any amount to the fund at any time. Lord bless you all. ♥

 

 

We Have Special Needs:

We are seeking support partners who could help to meet more of our needs. These include:

*Re-roofing daycare center

*Two security screen doors

*Installing wind turbines in the roofs and/or ceiling fans in all the rooms

*Finish new office building; i.e. insulation, drywall, paint, connect electrical by burying cable under-ground, installing wind turbines and/or ceiling fans.

*A small economical pick-up truck ♥
