Kids Korner

This month, we’d like to introduce to brothers, Ruben and Brayan. These little guys have been with us since the beginning, learning and growing daily. They love the Lord and Ruben especially loves to sing praise songs at the top of his voice. Several times a week, their older sister, Elizabeth, comes for lunch and play. She’s in first grade now and hopefully, Ruben can attend Kindergarten this fall. Both Brayan and Ruben have a slight speech defect but prayerfully, in time they will overcome. (Photo below left) .♥

Our New Friend

Jason Beckett is a professional hockey player with the “Thunder” hockey team from Stockton, CA. He visited us when he came as a part of the group from the last Prosthetic Clinic which was held in May. Jason soon fell in love with our children and blessed them with his team’s sports jerseys and duffle bags. Though all the shirts are the same size, it made the group picture even better. Thank you Jason and teammates for making our day a little brighter. Jason and his teammates also gave jerseys and duffle bags to all twenty-one patients at the last clinic. (Photo above right) ♥

We Give Thanks

Another one of our friends has a special talent; she is a professional hair stylist. Occasionally, she comes by with her bag of clippers, and loving and ever so patiently gives our little ones a haircut. Some of us big kids get to enjoy her talent as well. Renee Barry comes to us from Newfoundland via Canada and is also an IDT missionary. We are more than blessed to know her. We thank God for you, Renee. (Photo below left) ♥

And to our friends, Lane and Lynn Aebi of Stockton, CA, we give thanks from the bottom of our hearts for your generous contribution so that we could have security bars installed on all our windows. We now feel protected. May the Lord richly bless you. (Photo above right) ♥
