Lumley Castle boasts 25 golf courses in its vicinity, inlcuding one at the Castle itself. Here are some local courses, with information from the AA Guide to Golf Courses 2000. I am hoping to play myself on Saturday afternoon (and Thursday if I get get to Newcastle from London early enough). If you would like to play on Saturday, e-mail me, Kathy Byrne (Ruth's sister) at [email protected] and I'll try and arrange some tee times at the Lumley Castle course.
