Ruth Marie Fernihough and Louis Frederick Rudolph Augspurger were married November 25, 1939.  My Mom and Dad had just celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary together when Mom passed away a few days later.  Ruth and Louis experienced many things in life together including successfully raising four kids, endured the death of an infant son (a fifth child), and lived through much of our countries history together including World War II.  I also know for a fact that both of my parents were faithful to each other all of those years.  My Dad was able to hold onto the same job for 44 years and my Mom ran her own business for 30 years after raising her kids.  I think their record speaks for itself; very few people today are able to have success in a marriage that could even come close to what my parents had together.  To put their accomplishment into perspective...how long have YOU been married?
