Camp Heartland is a nonptofit organization that works with children who are affected by or infected with HIV/AIDS. Camp Heartland does this though year-round support advocacy and AIDS awareness programs.
Chilren International is a non-profit organization that works to better the lives of children all over the world. This is done mostly throught individual sponsorships. Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha Incorporada has been working with Children Internation since the begining and believes in the message so strongly that they require every chapter, alumna, founders and national board to sponsor a child through Children International.
Locally the Rutgers Colony has helped the community by donating time and resources to local soup kitchens, food banks, The National Latina Health Network, Saint Jude's Children's Hospital, the MS foundation, the Breast Cancer Walk and New York Cares.
