VII. Election Procedures
a.  Executive committee members will be elected at the next to last meeting of the Spring semester and installed at the last meeting of the Spring semester.
b.  Candidate nominations shall occur at the meeting prior to the elections.  Nominations may be reopened by a 2/3 majority at the time of elections.
c.  Candidates shall be elected by a majority vote of club members.  In the event of a tie, the President shall cast the deciding vote.

VIII. Filling in Vacancies of Offices
a. Vacancies in office occurring for any reason shall be filled as follows:
i. A vacancy in the office of the President shall be filled by the Vice President for the remainder of the term.
ii. A vacancy in any office, except President, shall be filled by a special election.  The President may appoint a temporary officer to fill the position until the special election, which shall occur within 60 days.

IX. Voting Procedures
a.  All business, with the exception of constitutional amendments, shall be passed by a majority vote of members present.
b.  In the event of a tie, the President shall cast the deciding vote.

X. Meetings
a. RU 4-H shall meet at least twice a month, except on months having less than four full weeks of class.
b. Meeting dates and times shall be decided at the beginning of each semester for the following semester.

XI. Funding for Trips
a. Only active RU 4-H members in good standing will be eligible for funding from the club.
b. The club will determine a maximum amount of funding to be divided among qualified club members.
c. Members will divide the allocated money based on points assigned for attendance to meetings and activities, and involvement in the planning of activities/meetings.
d. Members must sign and abide by a code of conduct to receive funding from the club.  They must also abide by additional rules of the event they are attending.

XII. Advisor
a. RU 4-H must have at least one advisor who is a current faculty/staff member of Rutgers University.  The club may also have other advisors.
b. The duty of the advisor(s) is to provide leadership for the club.

XIII. Parliamentary Procedure
a. Meetings and business shall take place according to the parliamentary procedure.
b. The latest revised edition of Robert�s Rules of Order shall be the authority governing all matters of procedure not otherwise dictated in the RU 4-H Constitution.

XIV. Amendments to the Constitution
a. The test of any constitutional amendments must be provided at least one meeting prior to the vote for adoption or rejection of said amendment.
b. Amendments to the constitution require a two-thirds (2/3) majority vote of club members.
