This is a little bit of a stretch but the marching band promises that if you work hard an obey the rules you will win championships and dif you disobey them that all of your free time at the games will be taken away.

The marching band makes you invest your money in things such as uniforms, band trips, band fees, your instrument, boosters, and any other thing that comes up during the season.
