Quad
A tragic High School Football accident (Forest, MS) in
1975 left Rusty permanently paralyzed (Quad C4) from the shoulders
down at the age of 15. The graphic below shows you (in black) the areas on
Rusty's body that have NO feeling and NO movement. Over 80 percent of his
body is in a constant state of pins and needles friction. The sensation is
very similar to when your arm or leg goes to sleep, except in Rusty's case
it has been a 32 year sleep.

FYI -- Each year, 11,000 people are hospitalized
with spinal cord injuries, according to the Center for Disease Control.
Spinal cord injuries cost the nation $9.7 billion annually and their
effect on a family can be devastating. In the first year
alone, treatment and care can cost $500,000.
