okay, if you haven't seen outlaw star yet,
you've been missing out.
i think it's the best anime i've
ever seen! it's got the best theme
song "hiru no tsuki", action,
suspense, romance, and humor
as well. please check them out because
you'll make me sleep a lot better at night.
i'm not sure if they're still on cartoon network
because i've been too busy to watch television
and also the fact that i live in a
dorm is pretty much self-explanatory. but the last
time i checked they were
still on. check your local listings
for times, they're usually on the
midnight run and the adult swim..
i'm not sure tho.

well that's enough of that...lemme move
on to what the anime is basically
about. it's about a guy named
Jean Starwind who
teams up with a bunch of other
characters, including an android
named Melfina, a computer genius
named Jim Hawking, a fiesty Ktarl-Ktarl
named Aysha CahnCahn (my absolute
favorite character!!), an
assassin named Suzuka, and other
characters as well. They team up and
somehow their goal later on is to find the
Galactic Leyline, a mysterious treasure buried
in an unknown place.

this is one of my favorite songs.
it's called "hiru no tsuki" and it's the end theme song

oto no nai mahiru
kaze wa tada akarui
sukoshi nemuta-sou ni
hanabira ga yureta

nanigenai kono omoi
nee, hito wa donna kotoba de yonde-iru no

shiroi suna no tsuki
tojikometa hanashi wo
hikari furasu you ni
kikasete ne sotto

itsuka shiru toki ga kuru no? mune no itami wo
soshite ima yori ya sashiku naru no ne

atatakai kono omoi
nee, hito wa donna name de yonde-iru no

shiroi suna no tsuki
mabushikute mienai
tooi mirai no koto
kikasete ne sotto

I love the translations for this!
when translated, this means:

One soundless mid-day,
the wind was so cheerful.
Flower petals sway in the breeze
as if they were sleepy.
This serene feeling...
Tell me, what's the word people use for it?

Tell me a story that's locked away
in the white-sand moon.
Let me hear it
as gently as light shining down...

Will the time come? When will you know the pain in my heart?
Then you'd be able to be gentler than you are now.

Such a warm feeling...
Tell me, what's the name that people give to it?

Softly, let me hear
of the distant future,
so bright it can't be seen,
like a white-sand moon.
