During Kami's 3rd week she was being very fussy and crying a lot so we tried soothing her tummy with some peppermint. That seem to give some temperary relief but we found out the next day from the pediatrician that she suffers from gastro-esophigal reflux disease (GERD). Doc says it is the under development of the flap that retains her stomach acids from coming back up. She is on medication and the average baby is on it eight months before this problem is out-grown itself. Despite this problem mommy and daddy are still blessed to have such a beautiful addition.
