SUMMARY:
UltraWebMeds is blatantly soliciting addicts, dealers and abusers and in so doing giving the entire telemedicine industry a bad reputation. Most people - including the DEA, media and general public, still do not understand the difference between legitimate online health care providers and rogue pharmacies. As long as operations such as this continue to plague the industry, telemedicine will never evolve into a legitimate alternative for the millions of chronic pain sufferers who so desperately require their services.
When I contacted Ben to ask him to stop his illegal activities his reply was:
"You truly are a sad sack. It would take months for you to get the DEA to shut the pharmacies down. So go head. Whatever. Fuck you pile of shit. I have 3 new ones starting this week. So go for it. I have more resources than you can imagine. FUCK OFF, TRULY!!"
Clearly, this person believes himself to be above the law and blatantly flaunts his illegal activities for the world to see. If there is to be any future for telemedicine, places such as this must be eradicated as quickly as possible.
If I can be of any further help in your investigation please dont hesitate to ask. I will look forward to meeting you in person as we discussed.
Sincerely,
(name withheld to CC recipients)
Note to pharmacy boards: Please email a copy of this letter to your registered pharmacies so they are aware the illegal dealings and possible consequences of being associated with UltraWebMeds.
