| The Best Method to hose down your ride hear is how to get ready for washing it: 1. Take off the wheels and the bearings also (if you want) 2. Remove all the batts and servos and reciver and the rest of the electric stuff(this step is not needed when you have SAS sealed alloy battery and reciver boxes) 3. Remove the air filter and cover tightly with a cap or stopper 4. Remove the engine (Optional) Now that you have compleated the above preperation steps you are ready to clean Steps on how to clean it: 1. Frist you will need to cover it in Degreaser, the liquid kind is perfered (or nitro wash) 2.Get a hose and wash it down 3.leave it in the sun to dry (TIP: try leaing it against a wall so all the water runs off) 4. Put some sort of oil on the parts that could rust like screws, hinge pins, bearings and so on...(I use 3-in-1 oil) 5. Re-install all the electronics 6. DRIVE!!!!!!! i would not recomend this for a regular cleaing method i normaly do it when i have pulled the car apart for working on ACE |
