Travelling through the forest, you soon come to realize that the trees are starting to thin. You can see something white breaking through them. Going off the path, you can see that it's clearly a lake.
You are very thirsty, and you decide to try and head for the lake. However, while doing so, you almost fall right off a cliff. There is nothing between you and the lake, except for maybe a sixty foot drop.
Looking up, you see that silver dove has been following you. It makes a 'coo' sound, and it perches on a tree branch. It makes another cooing sound, and you decide to go over to see what it's trying to say. it was then you notice at the base of the tree that it sits in is a somewhat steep pathway leading down the cliff.
You thank it, and continue down the cliff, towards the lake. |
