The NES was one of the longest lived game systems of all time! (1986-92) It had a HUGE library of games and some nifty preipherals. There was the light gun, the power glove(which didn't work that well), the U-force hands free controller (ditto), and Rob the robot. The pad had a little cross shaped thingee on it that I dind't like too much. The NES didn't thave the power of the SMS but the games were great anyway! I spent hours on Zelda, Super Mario, and a host of others. I still have my nes and I play it from time to time. I have about 20 games for it ,the U-force controller, and the Game Genie. |

The Nintendo Famicom was the japanese version of the NES. The Famicom was slightly smaller than the NES and the game carts were smaller too. |

The Famicom had a disk drive accessory which never made it to North America. |
