They were undefeated
in the semis, and was
expectedly to match up again with Cuba for the Gold Medal. The team performed to their utmost, but failed to take home the gold. It was very sad for the fans, but most of all for the players who have dreamed of bagging the gold medal. Even i, thought they would win. It was really heartbreaking. Well i guess one thing is certain in sports, you either win or lose. Team Russia is young and there's more ahead of them. Nevertheless, in our hearts, they're still the winner!!!
