Peter the Great's summer palace is an easy bus ride from a Metro station,
in the suburbs of St. Petersburg. This is a very popular weekend
outing for the locals. Getting home in the afternoon is a little
harder, since all the buses are full with people from further-out suburbs.
We ended up taking a different bus to a further out Metro station that
resulted in tour of a newer neighborhood of large apartment blocks.

had been here many times before.
