At Kuskovo estate in Moscow.  It was built as a place to hold gigantic weekend parties.  The public was invited to stroll the grounds, but only the aristocracy was invited inside.  Unlike some similar-looking buildings, this one is built entirely of wood.  Inside, rooms are decorated with wood carved and painted to look like marble, tiles, etc. Click here to view the large articificial lake were mock sea battles were staged.

Today, wedding couples come here to have their picture taken.  The custom is, after the ceremony at the Wedding Palace, the entourage visits famous sites around the city, poses for photos, and drinks champagne.  In the course of an hour at Kuskovo on a Saturday we saw easily a dozen wedding parties.
