| Greetings When you greet a person in Russia, it is customary to shake the other person's hand. Many women do not do this, but if a man does not it is considered rude. Upon entering an aquaintence's home, it is also a custom to take off your shoes. Presenting a small gift to your host is a kind act that shows you value their friendship. |
| Religion Many people go to churches in Russia. The national church is the Russian Orthodox Church. During communism, religion was banned and many people became atheists. Now, even though many go to church, they call them Christians, but only like the values of the religion. It is more of a ritual to go to church. There is freedom of religion, however, and Islam and Judism are other religions in Russia. |

Made out of eggs, honey, flour, sugar, milk, butter, salt, and powdered sugar, these will surely be the delight of the meal. They are fried and then rolled into balls.
