What You Need:

cookie cutters
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup honey
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup bran cereal
1/4 cup rolled oats

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350° F. Lightly beat the egg. Stir in the milk, oil and honey. Combine the flour, cereal and rolled oats. Add them to the egg mixture and stir until you have created a stiff dough. Sprinkle flour on a pastry cloth and roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thick. If the dough is too soft, add more flour. Cut the dough with the cookie cutters, and line them up on a lightly greased baking sheet.

Note: You can also dip these bones in white chocolate and sprinkle them with non-pareils for decoration. Do not use any other chocolate but white chocolate, because they are toxic to dogs. You can also mix a little bit of food coloring into the mix to make colored bones.
