About Me:
So this page is about me. Okay, what do you want to know? I graduated form Ohio State in March of 2001 with a degree in Computer Science. I am a ture codewarrior with a passion for problem solving. Aside from the information revolution, I am also interested in business and education. The plan is to program in my youth, return to school for my MBA before playing the business side of the field, then happily retire and teach at a university. I currently work for a small consulting firm, where my resourcefulness has earned me the title of Database Administrator.
Okay, that's all well and good, but what about me as a person. Who cares, right? Well, for those of you that do, I am a very positive, playful, and open-minded person. I am extremely competitive, and enjoy just about all types of games (outdoor sports, video games, chess, etc). I have a major interested in medieval Afrikan kingdoms and East Asian languages. In the past I have worked for tutoring programs to pass the time, but unfortunately my work schedule doesn't allow for much after-school volunteer work. Of late I have taken up martial arts (particularly the sword-fighting arts like kendo & gumdo) to pass time, but often enough the work schedule gets in the way of that as well.
Family & Friends:
I am the oldest son of Benard & Wilma Russell. I have a younger brother Stanton who recently was accepted to Ohio State. Then there is the very cute and very spoiled baby sister Simone. I love her to death when she's in another city, but when she comes to visit she drives me up a wall. I have an excellent group of friends but I love meeting new people.
