Dam Construction and Water Level
Pit area - this view shows the 'Pit' and the flood area, many of the trees in the background will not be dozed, some will still be removed, others will remain "as is" for fish cover.
Front of Dam - This is just another picture showing what has been scrubbed so far. If you look close at the front of the feeder, you'll see two orange flags, they mark the beginning of the Dam. The Dam will be built on a 4 to 1 pitch, it will climb vertical 1 foot for every 4 that are horizontal.
Water Level- The "Flag" represents the water level when full. At this time, I plan on conserving money on the backside of the dam making it a 3 1/2 to 1 slope instead of 4 to 1. This should save me enough to move an additional 500 cubic yards of dirt to the Dam area, I'm guessing an additional 4 feet in height.
