This was lesson to create a mask and apply that mask to the original image.....look closely and you can see thru the mask to the image which appears as background. |

The next image was created with a tut from the "substitute" teachur, If I do it again I'll apply a bit more transparency |

Both of the next two are from the same tut. The jury is still out on the one of the group (don't know if this effect is better on landscapes) the other one is OK.....I chose to use very subtle borders, thinking that the total effect should be towards the masking. |

The lesson was not too clear what we were to be able to do with this mask but I created a tile background, and applied it to a canvas. |
