PERSONALITY QUESTIONS:
Do you have any singing, acting, or performing aspirations?: No I can't sing or act. Does attempting to get on Jeapardy count as a performing aspiration?

Whats your highest level of education completed?: Bachelor of Science, Psychology degree - Radford University, graduated December 2001.
Do you smoke?: Nope.
Do you do drugs?: Nope.
Do you drink?: Socially. Mostly Zima, Citrona, mixed drinks. I hate most beers.
How often do you get drunk?: I have never been drunk.
Do you have pets?:Yes. A cat named Gretchen and a dog named Tippy.
Are you a vegetarian?:Nope.
Have you ever lived with roommates?:Yes.
Did you get along well?:Depends on which roommate you are asking about!
Name one good quality and one bad quality about each roommate: Ok, well Tom - he was a nice guy, but he kept the television on all night long. JC - he was a really nice guy most of the time, but he had a temper at times (and JC I'll never forgive you for the "playing dead" trick lol). Lucas, well he never really got to know me enough to see any good qualities about him - he never really communicated with me so I'm not sure how to gauge him, even though he was my roommate for a full year. Craig, well he was a nice guy but his girlfriend was an uninvited third roommate. And James, well, we got along great until his temper flared. Its cool though - we can BOTH share stories about the good times and the bad times. We both grew up a lot during that semester I think! lol
What kind of music do you like best?: All kinds except most types of jazz
What magazines do you read?: GQ, Newsweek, Popular Science, Men's Journal
Do you have any body art?: Not yet, though I would like to get a little alien tattoo :) I just can't work up the nerve to stick ink under my skin yet! lol
Do you have a temper?: Only when you push me really really hard. I'm usually quite docile.
How do you deal with anger?: Steam and bitch. Then I count to ten and do yoga and I'm fine!
List three adjectives that best describe you?: Shy, determined, stubborn.
Whats your sign?: Taurus.
What do you like/dislike about your hair?: I like how I am able to spike my hair (I love spiked hair). I don't like the fact that I inherited a melatonin deficiency from my parents that made me starting going gray back in middle school, and also gave me a ton of freckles! I don't have freckles anymore, but I do have gray hair still - and I'm just 23 lol
What do you like/dislike about your eyes?: Um... I love my eyes - blue eyes are beautiful hehehe

TELEVISIONS SHOWS
If you were on the tv show, Big Brother, who would you choose to have living with you in the house?: Thats a hard question. I would love people who are not judgemental, but we can't get away from those types and we are all judgemental about something, so I would say I would just love a diverse house full of people with weird personalities - I love weird lol - like a fortune teller, a strip dancer, a nymphomaniac gay guy, a loud obnoxiously funny girl with a pig snort for her laugh - lol - anything that would be entertaining to watch, and/or would be entertaining to try to get the person away from me! lol
If you watch Big Brother, do you have a favorite houseguest?: Yes... I liked Britney from season one, because I changed my hair color as often as she did. On season three, I like everyone except Josh Feinberg. Hes the antichrist.
If you were on the tv show, Survivor, what challenges would you absolutely not like to do?: Anything with water - I can't swim :(
If you watch Survivor, do you have a favorite castaway?: Yes, I loved Brandon from Africa... he was too queeny and bitchy not to laugh your ass off at... and from Marquesas I liked Sean and Kathy.
If you were on the tv show, Fear Factor, what is the grossest thing you could imagine eating?: Thats easy - feces! Of course, that will never happen on the show thank god!
If you were on the tv show, Amazing Race, which person would you most like to be on the show with?: Hmmm... if it was family, I would have to say either my niece Stephanie or my nephew Brad... if it were just a friend, I would have to say either Abbi, Erika, or Bobby - because we either get along so well, or they are just so entertaining I wouldn't mind flying all over the world with them!
If you watch Amazing Race, did you have a favorite team?: Yes, I liked Danny and Oswald as well as the Gutsy Grannies.
If you were on the tv show, The Real World, how do you think the editors would portray you?: As a bitch probably. I would be the unlucky one to get all the edited sequences where I'm complaining about something - even if I've only complained once or twice a week - every episode would have me complaining in it - they would edit out all the nice parts about me! :) hehehe
If you watch The Real World, did you have a favorite roommate?: Yes, I liked Danny from the New Orleans season, Mike from the Back to New York season, and Tonya and Chris from the Chicago season. I have a ton of favorites from each season but those are the tops overall.
If you were on the tv show, Frontier House, would you milk the cow?: No, I would be in the cabin eating everyone's rations behind their back! lol
If you were on the tv show, The Weakest Link, how long do you think you would last?: Not very long - I would be too busy fantasizing about how sexy Anne Robinson is that I would miss all the questions the first round and be voted off for sure!
If you were on the tv show, Wheel of Fortune, which vowel would you use most often?: WHAT?!?! Um... probably the E... I dunno, does it matter?
If you were on the tv show, American Idols, which song would you most want to sing?: My favorite song right now - Craig David's Once In A Lifetime

POLITICS AND DEBATES:
Legalize marijuana?: Sure. Legalize the pure form, not cocaine laced marijuana. While I do not do the drug myself, I think if alcohol and cigarettes are legal, so should marijuana.
Abortion?:Pro-choice. I think both parents should have a say-so in the matter, and it should be done early rather than later. And it should always been done in cases of incest or injury to the mother/child.
Same-sex marriage:Yes. Legalize it. Just because two guys can get married doesn't mean that your son is going to decide to marry a guy - just because that "option" is out there. If he wants to do a guy, hes going to do a guy - whether its legal to marry the guy or not. Domestic partners are not entitled to 5,000 rights that are inherent when other couples marry.
Gun control?: Yes, take guns out of people's hands unless its their profession to carry a gun. Hunting is ok, just don't go around carrying an automatic weapon and tell me you need it for "hunting". Thats bullshit.
Gay adoption?: Let gays adopt children. You can't say that its any more dysfunctional for a child to grow up with two dads or two moms than for him or her to grow up with a mom and dad that don't love each other, beat each other to a pulp, or sleep with someone else. Every family is dysfunctional in some way.
Death penalty?: Too many innocent people die in the death chamber. Do away with the death penalty except in extreme cases where, for example, a serial killer admits to his crimes, the DNA evidence is insurmountable, and the person is pathologically wired to kill again.
Who did you vote for in 2000?: Al Gore.
Why?: George Bush wasn't ready then, and is not ready now, to lead the country. I respect the man for his leadership after September 11th, but I still think Gore would make a better president. I intend to vote Democratic in 2004 as well.
If you could be president, what would you do about the war on terrorism?: Three things: Destroy terrorist camps in Afghanistan/Pakistan/Kashmir... war with Iraq... and military intervention in Lebanon and Israel to dismantle the PLO infrastructure and rebuild it with non-corrupt government structure.
If you could be president, and China attacked Taiwan, what would you do?: Go to war. I don't think China would go to war with Taiwan, because in doing so, a US led coalition could easily win independence for not only Taiwan, but Hong Kong, Xianjing, Kashmir, and Tibet as well.
If you could be president, how would you handle the AIDS crisis?: More funding to vaccine efforts, as well as passing a law making it mandatory for every man, woman, and child to get a yearly HIV test so that the CDC could have a better grasp on the extent of the epidemic. The test is simple and painless, especially the cotton swab test, and I think making it mandatory would remove the stigma that is associated with the test.
If you could be president, how would you handle the rising cost of health care?: Implement price caps on subscription medicines, provide at least a nominal amount of free health insurances, government subsidized, for every man, woman, and child.
If you could be president, would NASA still be important in terms of funding?: Yes, I would increase spending. Like JFK, I would make space a top priority - establishing a lunar base, sending a man to Mars, and developing a space defense force in the event of an asteroid impact. Now I'm sounding like Star Trek lol.
MISCELLANEOUS STUFF

My College Years
You know, you never realize how much you can accomplish until you push yourself.  When I graduated ranked 17th in my senior high school class at Graham High School in Bluefield, Virginia, I never thought about going to Radford University for college, or taking up psychology as my major.  I was set on going to Virginia Tech, UVA, Elon College, or NYU as my choices for college.  I am glad that I chose Radford on a whim to be closer to a friend of mine.  Without making that fateful choice I never would have experienced the rich experiences that being in southwest Virginia afforded me.  I never would have met my five favorite people in the world:  Bobby, Abbi, Erika, Liane, or Jason.  :)  I never would have learned so much about myself in so short a period of time.  I found out just how lazy a person could get (I'll miss those 24 hour long naps that I had on occasion) and how hardworking a person can be (Ill miss those 72 hours of no sleep and constant cramming).  I  found out just how easy it can be to get along with total strangers in a small 16 foot room for a whole year- sharing each others life.  In my four and a half years at Radford, I had five roommates and four suitemates.  My roommates were from very different walks of life:  a football quarterback, a minister in the Church of God, a frat boy, a wrestler, and a honors student.  This opened my eyes to diversity, and except for one roommate, I had some major roommate complications with each one of them, but in the end, you learn to live and let live, grow and let grow, and usually you can go back to being friends afterwards, even though you wish you could claw their eyes out sometimes.  Ive learned so much about myself in so short a period of time, and I will truly miss Radford, all my friends, and the three years that I lived in Washington Hall.  I hated living on campus, but when I moved off campus, I missed it.  You learn all these facts after they are gone, and you don't appreciate anything as much as you do when its over.

Since 1997, I've lived through a lot of memorable events - some major, many minor, some that only a few people know what I'm talking about when I mention them.  These are the moments reserved for a special few.  The events of these past four and a half years will never be forgotten:

The long-running challenge with Liane to see who could skip the most in Dr. Chrisley's boring Nutrition class and still pass.  I won - I skipped 21 times.  Liane skipped 18, I think, but she got a B, I earned a C.  She only earned a B because she flirted with the teacher.

The late night visits by Erika to play Dungeon Keeper 2 on my computer.

The endless conversations that seemed to stretch on for 9 hours, and hardly accomplish anything.

The nights spent sitting in Bobby's room, saying little, observing a lot, and talking on the phone with Bobby's best friend (whom I had never met before)

Playing Ping Pong with JC in the basement until one of us would accuse the other of cheating and run to our room and swear never to play again (until the next day)

Helping JC carry a giant screen tv and a couch into our small cramped dorm room just to play Legend of Zelda 64 on.

Screaming at my 75 Mhz Macintosh Performa to run faster so I could print out a 20 page paper before my class (4 minutes prior to the clock chiming at Muse)

Having to endure horribly acted musicals and plays on stage for grades in Theater Appreciation

Getting run over by a car for a good grade in Matt Graybill's introductory psychology class.

Matt Graybill.  'Nuf said.  *fans self*

Running into every "straight" person I know in gay bars, and recording the results in a journal for a good grade in my Minority Psychology class.

Pretending to be schizophrenic in a video for Abnormal Psychology class with Becky, while JC did the lambada outside the lounge window in the background - making everyone in class laugh until the teacher had to start docking grades for being too loud.

Nearly dying in several occasions in the car with Jana.

Having straight girls try to turn me straight.

Going to church with JC, only to be nearly molested by a vengeful old woman who demanded to know if I "knew Jesus"

The huge 1,000 person snowball fight in Moffett Quad with friends during the 1999 blizzard.

Attending prayer vigils for Matthew Shepard and Danny Overstreet - only to wonder if anyone from Radford would ever be next.

Working for two and a half years at the McConnell Library - sorting books, dying of boredom, and wishing I wasn't working there (until I wasn't anymore- then missing the place)

Slipping on black ice outside Young Hall, and then sliding 200 feet upside down from the fall, with everyone on campus watching.

Beating the prissiest snobbiest cheerleading bitch out for highest grade in Creative Writing class - ruining her chances of being the teacher's pet in every one of her classes.

Starting the Radford Gay Straight Alliance to provide a more hospitable environment for Radford's gay students, only to be accused of being a homophobe by one prominent member of the Gay Lesbian Bisexual Student Union

Going to the Park with Abbi and Erika

Eating dinner at Joes Diner every morning at 3 am with Abbi and Erika for a whole semester

Ordering pizza or Chrusties from Chanceys every night for a whole semester with JC

Worrying that JC's weight would collapse the bunk bed on top of my head every night

Becoming sick on Pipers shrimp and Dalton carryout

Becoming addicted to Ranch Crunchers at Mean Genes - and eating one every day for two years

Having to sweep my floor incessantly for three months to clean all the "fairy dust" that fell off Jean's wings on Halloween

Bleaching my hair a different shade of orange every few months

Collecting over 3000 mps and then never playing them

Sleeping through the September 11th tragedy, and then emailing the professor to tell him why I wasn't in class (napping) - when class was already cancelled due to the terrorist attacks - finding out 10 hours late what had happened

Listening to my suitemates having sex with their girlfriends in our bathroom every night
