| Yoda's history is largely unknown but it is known that Yoda was a long standing Jedi master. He trained Jedi Knights for more than 800 years and served on the Jedi Council of the Old Republic. Sometime after the fall of the Republic and the birth of Palpatine's New Order, Yoda migrated to the obscure planet of Dagobah. It was there that Yoda trained his most important student, Luke Skywalker. Unfortunately, Yoda was unable to complete Luke's training. Yoda died shortly before the Battle of Endor. |
