Sixty-two people requested the last Greedo's Icon Collection. I still can't
believe it; it blows me away, and I'm sure with this update I'll have even
more. Thanks to all of you for supporting my humble efforts and helping me
escape the tyranny of the AOL system. May the Forts be built by you.

		    GREEDO'S ICON COLLECTION 5.94 :
 			 THE BESPIN COLLECTION

    	    BY <GARRETT GILCHRIST (AmbushBug4@aol.com)

  	                UPLOADED BY THE AUTHOR

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

"'Is it a good collection?!' Don't tell me you've never heard of the
   Greedo Icon collection!"

   "...should I have?"

"It's the collection that made it from Artoo to Zuckuss in less than five
revisions and then came back for more! ...It's good enough for you, old
   man. Version 5.94."

   "Ninety-four."

The best icon collection in the known systems has returned!

Acclaimed galaxy-wide since its introduction, the happy li'l icons of
Greedo's Icon Collection just went through their fifth revision! The
collection is bigger and better than ever before, folks. Those of you who
thought the LAST revision was overkill might just wanna leave right now. And
the rest of the world can jump for joy!!

Why a revision, you may ask? (A question SW fans have been hearing a lot
lately, but still ...) In the last revision I took a lot of suggestions from
fans about which icons they wanted to see, but still the collection seemed
incomplete. A few favorites of mine were still missing, a few of the old
looked like they needed a bit of touch-up work, and the collection still
didn't have a decent set of ANIs and CURs. So now it's 5.94, and if you ask
me, it's finally complete!

The main focus of this revision is introduce Lando Calrissian, the
traitorous gambler played by Billy Dee Williams who turns our heroes over to
the Empire and has to redeem himself. This, then is the Bespin Collection,
with Lando, his trusty sidekick Lobot, his copilot Nien Nunb, and his old
buddy Han, who can't join us at the moment as he's been frozen in
carbonite ...

The other new icons in the set are mostly ideas suggested to me for the
last revision that I was unable to do then, but make up for now. The addition
of robotic bounty hunter 4-LOM completes the highly popular set of ESB bounty
hunters. The addition of Anakin Skywalker and the ghosts of Obi-Wan Kenobi
and Yoda gives us all the ROTJ ghosts. Also included is a B'omarr Monk
(y'know, one of those spidery guys in ROTJ), a few favorite creatures from
the Mos Eisley Cantina (more on that below), the famous logos to the
galaxy-class LucasFilm special FX companies Industrial Light and Magic (ILM)
and the THX sound system, an Imperial Probe Droid (straight from Hoth), and
for those of you who still have all your old Kenner action figures (or even
those who just wish you did) I present what are by far the two most famous,
Snaggletooth (red and blue varieties) and Yak Face!

But that's not the big news in this revision, not by a long shot! It's not
enough just to decorate your desktop the Star Wars way, oh no! We're taking
over your mouse pointer, too! The previous collections included a small
smattering of ANIs and CURs for Windows 95 designed to give you something to
watch while clicking around. For this revision I take it into hyperspace.
When your computer's spinning wheels why watch some boring old hourglass when
you can watch the Death Star explode? That's here, as are the creepy
creatures of the Cantina, a dancing Jawa, the Falcon pulling in and out of
hyperspace, and the hologram of Princess Leia as it asks Obi-Wan Kenobi for
help. Returning favorites include Gonk the Power Droid, Luke vs. Daddy, the
visual character roll call, and the spinning Rebel Coin (now joined by its
evil twin, the Imperial Coin, heh heh), all in ANI form for use in Win95.

As for CURs, those of you wishing to transform your Win95 cursor into a
lightsaber can (Luke's, Vader's, and Obi-Wan's are included), or if you don't
want to go quite that far I've designed futuristic versions of the regular
Windows pointer.

I believe a roll call is in order...

Barring any errors which may need correcting this is probably the last
revision of Greedo's Icon Collection. It's been a real good run, and I'd like
to thank you all once again for making this collection what it is today, and
for all your comments and suggestions, even the goofy ones. The Ports will be
frequented by you. Always.
